Northern Shield # 1 - July 5th & 6th July, Wellington

Northern Shield # 2 - 2nd & 3rd August, Auckland

Finals Weekend - 11th & 12th October, Christchurch

HLA players are asked to attend Wellington Senior trainings on Sundays throughout the season. Dates and times are on the season calendar.

COSTS

Season Pass to attend Wellington Handball senior trainings = $75

NZHF High Performance Membership Fee ($50) plus a HLA License

• Full Season License: 22 & Under = $45, 23 & Over = $90

• Single Weekend License: 22 & Under = $20, 23 & Over = $35

Travel: For away dates, players must also pay for their own travel and accommodation.

It is expected that all HLA players support fundraising activities, as this helps us avoid passing on additional costs to players

TRAVEL

Players are responsible for booking their own flights. We recommend booking flights as early as possible.

For the Hamilton Super Weekend in May, flying into Auckland looks to be a better cost and timing option. Please book flights to arrive in Auckland on Saturday morning before 10am, and to depart Auckland after 5pm on the Sunday. WHF will arrange transport to Hamilton and back to Auckland Airport, for those who need it.

WHF will coordinate accommodation for those would like it, but you are also welcome to stay with friends or organise your own.
